• Where is the store based?

  La Mirada, CA

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Order processing time is 3-5 business days.

  All orders receive a shipping confirmation email along with tracking number or customs ID number (for international packages).

  Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. PLEASE NOTE: THE POST OFFICE IS CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS AND SUNDAYS! Orders placed Friday-Sunday will be shipped out during the following week.

  International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  Yes! International shipping is a flat rate $20 USD for all order sizes.

• Are your products Vegan?

  All products in our shop are vegan.

• Are your products Cruelty Free?

  All of our products are Cruelty Free. Meaning: We do not test on animals and the vendors we work with do not test on animals.

• Where are your products made?

  All of our cosmetics are manufactured in the USA.
  
  Argan oil is imported directly from Morocco to ensure purity and authenticity.

• I am a Beauty Blogger, can you send me free products for reviews and giveaways?

  We do not send out free products for reviews.
  This is our policy. We do not make exceptions.

  We feel that reviews are most honest when they come from paying customers (as one of our customers says: "Be willing to put your money where your mouth is!". Readers value and respect your opinions and appreciate your experiences more when you pay for the items you are reviewing.

  We understand that Beauty Bloggers often get free products from small companies in exchange for reviews and promotion. It's fine if you are used to doing that (or if it is your policy). However, this is our policy... and we ask that you just refrain from contacting us.

  Of course we wish you the best! We just don't want to deal with the awkward social situation of explaining our policy to someone who will be offended by it.

• Do you Sponsor MUAs or Models?

  This is a question we get asked very regularly.

  We do not "sponsor" any models or MUAs. Meaning: No, we will not send you free product in exchange for showing off what you can do with it.

  We do have times when we do promotional photo shoots and will sometimes ask for models and MUAs to work with us. We will work with professional established Models and MUAs, even in niche markets ("professional" meaning: you are currently signed, you walk for major brands, you work regularly and are published regularly, you have tear sheets and references).
  Ideally, we'd like to work with professionals who have a need for products for sensitive skin.

  If you have a license and are a professional MUA... we will consider giving you a PRO discount to our store.

• What makes your company different?

  The founder of Mon Ennui Cosmetics has severe allergies to many common ingredients used in high end cosmetics, today.
  The goal was to create new products and recreate popular products that are safe for her hyper-sensitive skin... without compromising quality, impact, blendability, and wear.

  The result has been an ever evolving line of gorgeous products that do not crease or fade!
  These long wearing pigments will withstand a full day of work or school... and will stay with you through a full night out on the town.

  As long wearing as Mon Ennui's pigments are, they still easily remove with gentle soap and water. We deliberately balance our formulas to be as high quality as the best brands out there... but, substitute chemicals that age you and irritate your eyes with gentle skin-protecting alternatives.

  If stored in a cool dark and dry place and used properly (to avoid contamination) Mon Ennui's pigments will not expire.
  Yes, you read that correctly. We formulate our loose pigments to be gentle and to not have an expiration date.

• How do you test your products?

  I (Vivi) ALWAYS test products on myself! I am sensitive to many things... and use myself as a guinea pig.

  So, if I say "I didn't react to it" it means that it passed MY test - it doesn't mean you are guaranteed to never have a reaction to anything we sell . It just means that it merely passed the "highly allergic girl test".
  
  If any products ever cause you irritation or discomfort... discontinue their use immediately!
  
  If you suspect you have an allergy: Contact your doctor!! They can refer you to someone who can help you figure that out.

• Are your products FDA approved? What if I have a bad reaction?

  This is a weird question that we sometimes get emails about.

  All of our products come with a complete list of ingredients.

  Our products are completely safe as long as they are handled, stored and used properly. It is your responsibility to know how to properly apply and store these products. Any advice offered by Mon Ennui Cosmetics on the use and application of products sold on this site is with the understanding that you will take personal responsibility for your actions.
  When you purchase our products you agree that you understand that you are responsible for properly using and storing them. Should you have any reaction severe enough to warrant medical concern, you are responsible for yourself and must discontinue usage of the product immediately and contact your doctor for a consultation. Please contact us immediately should this occur.

• What if I want to cancel my order?

  I am happy to cancel your order as long as you cancel before your items ship.

  Refunds/cancellations have processing time, however, and are not instant.

  Please expect your refund in 3-5 business days (Saturday and Sunday are not banking business days).

• What is Storenvy?

• How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

  The Storenvy checkout process is powered by both Stripe and PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, Storenvy has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.

• What if something is wrong with my order?
